Gill joined Northern Learning Trust in 2007 and became Chief Executive in 2018. She is highly experienced in working collaboratively with a wide range of organisations, to design and deliver learning and mentoring solutions to meet their organisational objectives. She is passionately committed to the Trust's mission of improving the lives of individuals and communities through providing access to high quality learning and mentoring opportunities.

Business Manager - Liz Sheerin
Liz is a qualified chartered accountant and has worked in a number of different roles. After a career break she returned to the voluntary sector and has worked for the Trust since 2008. In addition to managing the financial arm of the business, she enjoys being involved in other business development aspects of the organisation such as project development and bid writing.

Operations Manager - Nicola Robinson
Following a successful career in Adult Education and Integrated Support, Nicola joined Northern Learning Trust in 2016, becoming Operations Manager in 2021. An inspiring and motivating manager, Nicola is expert in delivering multiple and complex projects whilst developing and supporting our staff to reach their full potential.
Nicola has a passion for learning and a determination to ensure that our learners and service users are able to access high quality education and mentoring opportunities.

Mentoring Services Manager - Ian Robson
Ian has over 17 years’ experience of managing and motivating staff and volunteers to deliver learning and mentoring opportunities to people across the region. He has extensive experience of providing services for those facing multiple barriers to progression, including young people and adults within the criminal justice system. Ian joined the Trust in 2006 and has managed several successful learning and mentoring projects since then.
